Actually, it is pretty easy. And it looks way cool if you ask me: You can lay it over the seats in the first row. Have the people in the second row know which part is the top, and the people in the first know which is the bottom. The people in the second rom lift their end over their heads and pass it back to the people behind them, and the front row folks hold on to the bottom. You can have people run up the ends of the row helping the flag along (my seat is row 1 seat 1 in E30 which is the seat closest to e32, so I would be happy to do it on that side). All told it took us about 30 seconds to get the thing unrolled, maybe 90 seconds to get put all the way back again. I am imagining how cool it will look to have big USA flags in both supporters areas....and I am drooling.

I hate to admit it, but I had about 10 dreams last night of everything from the tailgate to the US winning... it was a good, but restless night!

We can make it work. You will sleep after the game when your body shuts down from continous adrenaline rush. __________________

I can volunteer my propane grill.
I'm fairly new to grilling, so I am not 100% sure of how much propane is left in the tank. Also, I don't have a parking permit for the lot west of the stadium. So if you want to pick it up, send me an E Mail or PM & I'll let you know how to get to my place.

About how many people are you expecting at the tailgating? I work at a grocery store and was thinking about ordering a cake to donate for the tailgating, and having our expert decorator put the USA and RSL soccer logos on it. I can afford to donate a half sheet cake, but am not sure if I'm willing to get a full sheet. I'd have it at the tailgaiting by about 3. First come first serve, I guess, but I don't want anyone to feel left out.

They are expecting in the neighborhood of 300-600 people. I say bring what you can... I am sure it will get eaten! Excellent Idea... can't wait to see it!

You outta see if your store would donate a big one if they were allowed to put their logo on the cake somewhere as well. __________________

I'm not sure if this is being selfish or not, but I would like the tailgate to be done about 4:00pm. The reasons.... I don't want to be stuck at the gate for the first half trying to get in, I want to see Sam's Army march in (it'll be my first time), I want to soak in as much atmosphere as I can, and I'll be bringing the big flag, so I want to be involved with that as well.
Is this a bad thing to want? What do you think about it? Is 2 hours enough? This of course means grills, tables and food would be gone by this time, so probably start cleaning up around 3:30pm..... And I think with all that Jason has done already, he should be the first in the gate... Last edited by Remus : 06-02-2005 at 10:05 PM.
