It's not a flag design, but after the two goals last night, I wished I had brought some red and gold party streamers to throw out. Do you think that would be allowed, or would I get tossed from the stadium?

Remember that we don't have permission for flags and yet flags are in the stadium...

If we bring streamers... it would be wise to keep them off the field. But bring them and launch them all over the stands and behind the goals.

I was thinking of streamers too. If every loyalist brought one roll of red streamer, one blue, and one yellow, and we threw them in unison, it would be a really cool thing.

I saw Section 8 from chicago do that at the MLS cup in 2003. It was really cool. It was really cool to see all the crap that those guys did. (Those guys had more than one giant flag to pull over their heads, and this wasn't a home game) And it was really cool to see their team lose by several goals. I suppose I ought to change my keychain. I still have the championship ring replica keychain that they handed out to the fans on opening day 2004. Since my allegiances have changed I guess I ought to find a new keychain. Anybody seen an RSL keychain for sale? Do they have one? I haven't checked.

But anyway, yeah, if we counted down, 3-2-1 and then all one hundred of us threw streamers at the same time, it would be a cool effect.

About the keychain... The Eagle was handing them out during the home opener, so there is atleast one out there 🙂

From the Apples <> Oranges Department............

Back before when I had to start bringing diaper bags to Blitzz games, I used to bring streamers. I never threw them on the field.

I used to tear off parts & hand them to little kids near us, so they could throw them. They loved it. Neither the kids nor I ever managed to get a streamer on the field, so no Rice Eccles personnel cared too much.

Just to let everyone know, I'm putting the finishing touches on my next flag.

To compare, my first one looks like a 1950's one piece wool bathing suit you're mom would have worn to the lake, where this new one is more like a Brazilian thong you'd stare at in Rio on Copacabana beach durring carnival.

Translation, it's sexier and you won't be able to look away.

(or something to that affect. I think it looks kinda cool anyway.)

The last flag was pretty sexy... I can't wait for model 2.0.

I think it was Hiddenfox with a new flag Saturday. I like the checkerboard pattern on the end.

I've got some material, and I was planning a new flag. I was thinking something like this. Keep in mind I'm no Photoshop genius, so the logo doesn't look so great, but it will look nice on the flag.

but my wife doesn't like the yellow stripes. She thinks it should be this.

What do you guys think?

Or should I scrap both of those and make several plain old striped flags and hand them out to whoever wants them? Do we even need more flags?
