All right, you asked for it. :p

No, it's not really that bad. First, here's my flag.
I had another flag that I was going to do a similar design with, using the RSL logo instead of the crown, but, like the idiot who paints letters on their forehead in the mirror only to find later that they are reversed, I drew the letters backward onto the material, and wound up having to throw it all out and go with a simple stripe pattern for the second.

Anyway. Here's the stuff you need to get. It's called Fusible Webbing. They have it at any fabric store...Joann's or whatever is your preference. This is basically iron-on stuff. You make up your design, then you take this fusible webbing, and iron it onto one side of your fabric. Then you draw your design onto the paper on the other side of the webbing. Cut it out. Then remove the paper, and iron it onto your flag. Remember to get enough fabric to do the design on both sides of the flag. You can make your design as complex as you want. Just keep ironing on layers if you need to.

I hope this makes sense, ask me questions if you have them. It's really a very simple process, and it makes your flags look like a pro made them, instead of being stitched together by a medical examiner after he finished closing up an autopsy and had some extra thread.

My wife is a member of a secret society charged to pass on all sewing knowledge from generation to generation. They first began in China in the year 2318 BC. They also can tell you where Mary Magdelene is buried. πŸ˜‰

Carry on.

Too bad they didn't get that excited about the game. At least they were making some kind of noise though. πŸ˜‰
