Next game start Dipsy. Dante is terrible,
Start Watson. Mathis is Terrible

Here here... although I like Dipsy, I don't think he's big enough. He has talent, but can't seem to produce with it.

Watson wants it, I think E should give him the chance. We haven't scored in over 400 minutes, how sad is that? I don't know if it's just the illusion of fresh legs but he hustles like it's going out of style.

There have been a lot of times that I have seen Mathis standing in a perfect position and nobody passing the ball to him. Tonight, for example, he sent a short pass to somebody (forget who) on his left then sprinted forward into a great position. If the other person had sent it back right away, Clint could have done something with it. But the other person hesitated (or so it seemed to me) and lost it in the sea of defenders. Clint knows who to pass it to, to create some good chances. It's not his fault if other people can't finish those chances. And it's not his fault that people don't pass him the ball when he's in a position to actually do something with it. That's just my two cents and I'm admittedly not that brilliant with soccer--I just love watching it.

True...but great players make their own plays. They find ways to score.
Mathis never had this problem when he played for the metro stars...What is wrong now?

What a disappointing game, we should have been down 3 or 4 to 0. Brown, Mathis, Kreis, Washington...who are these people and why haven't we scored for like 400 minutes? Was Old Ska right? Could it be Ellinger?

I think they need some reserves bresthing down their necks, then they might be more inspired.

Mathis is not a runner like Donovan. He needs a speedy forward to team up with, like he had with the Metros.
But I agree, we are making up excuses for Mathis. Clint should find something in 12(?) games.
If not, why is he the highest paid player on the team (for over $350K a year and the loss of our best allocation we will ever get)?
