It is too bad he couldn't be talked into donating the land. I know, that will never happen.

OOH. We could call it Pioneer Stadium. How is that for a nice Utah name? :p

Oh wait- we could call it "The Stadium of Deseret" and have cheers that go something like..."In our lovely deseret..." oh wait, I think that's a hymn.

My wife's name is Deseret - maybe that would get her coming out to the games with me. 🙄

Of course, the best downtown location was already mentioned. (Earl Holding--whatta guy. First he ruins Snowbasin, now he sits on two whole city blocks that could be used for something better than asphalt. Grrr.)
And really, the second best would be the block that the Garff megalots sit on, but I think we all know why THAT wouldn't happen, don't we? Even though I can't imagine they're making a lot of money in that location. Their taxes have gotta be eating up their profits.
I work just kiddy corner (spelling?) from Pioneer Park so I wouldn't mind that at all!! However, I believe there are some businesses and even a homeless shelter of sorts on that block. I doubt that would happen.

Earl Holdings, a true man of vision. I hope he chokes on all of his money.

I wonder if just west of the Gateway is still a spot they are looking at? That could be a good spot.

Oh well, I can't think about it anymore. This is like the great name debate to the 10th power. I can't even keep solid foods down anymore.

It would be great if RSL would let us know how their Real Estate hunt is going.
Just a hint, not the location or anything.
Keep praying.
