"Due to abnormally high frustration levels on both sides - likely from wallowing in the last and second-to-last standings all season - yellow and red cards were rampant during the CD Chivas, Colorada Rapids game yesterday. 15 players in total were ejected from the game before the head official, determined not to call the game, changed strategy and began docking goals from both sides instead of issuing cards for excessive penalties. Not consistent with MLS rules, the visibly upset referee in charge of the officiating was cited as saying 'Who gives a crap?!?!'

While a total of 3 goals were scored, the final tally, due to the referee's penalizing strategy, ended at -5 for the CD Chivas to -4 for the Colorado Rapids. Mathmetically minded fans of the game were left to ask, "who really won?" as technically the Chivas were able to generate the higher negative number, though the Rapids stayed closer to zero. One thing is for certain, we're all thankful the officials decided not to use square roots!

MLS officials are scurrying in an attempt to determine an actual outcome for the game - until then, however, the score stands."
