They really need to turn this dominance into an empirical advantage. I don't want to sound like, "I told you so, but.........."

By the way, Adu just send another great chip toward Ochoa at the far post.

Ochoa's having a good tournament. I hear he could have played for Mexico, but chose the USA instead. Interesting. His club team is Tecos, if I heard right.

Was just thinking about the last time I watched an American team outclass the Germans 😲 (Think happy thoughts....think happy thoughts...think happy thoughts.)

There's a half hour to go.

Substitute: Ochoa off, Jacob Peterson on for the United States.

Last Saturday, I noticed that Telefutura's broadcast was about 5 minutes ahead of FCS's.

Rover, have you checked any of the Over The Air Spanish language stations? I doubt that any of them would carry US - Germany under 20's, but weirder things have happened.

Ochoa must like winning international matches that take place at sea level.

Honduras (and Canada) beat Mexico in the qualifiers and we can see what Honduras has done so far in this tournament.................

That friendly in Jacksonville and Confederations Cup 1999. But as I understand it, Germany picked 11 names out of a telephone book to make up their team for that game.

I was actually thinking of a certain World Cup quarterfinal. 🙂

The last 15-20 minutes of this game has become quite stale. As we get into the 70th minute, I guess it's time to chat about a draw. It would be a decent results for both teams, particularly for the Americans. That would leave America and Germany with four points each and Argentina at three points.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that would mean that the U.S. would need only a point against Egypt to advance into the second round.

You're watching the game & I'm not, so I will defer to your judgement. But I'm guessing that the Germans are technically sophisticated.

If we try to pack the penalty area; if anyone can find a seam, the Germans can.

Let's use guys like Wynne & His Freddyness who can keep the Germans on their heels and let's move forward!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Sub: Freddy Adu off, Lee Nguyen on for the Americans.

The U.S. really had Germany on the run in the first half, but it's been a clinical performance by the Germans after halftime. Have to say they've looked better during the last 10 minutes. A point is looking better and better by the minute.

It's been typical boring crap from the Germans, but it's kept them in the game at 0-0, and now they've got a good shot to steal all three points.

The Germans are looking more and more commanding. Just four minutes of normal time plus stoppages. Can the U.S. weather the storm and now escape with the point?

It's looks like Sigi may also be playing for a tie.

It's not over until we say it's over!

Find me a way to revoke Germany's charter.
