Confederations Cup (R)

The players and coaches don't care so I don't see why we should.

But just in case:

Mexico 2 Japan 1 (Kikin Fonseca comes through again.). Remember, international soccer is like college football. You have to support your bitter rivals when they are playing non-conference games because if they win, your conference looks better.

Brazil 2 Greece 0.

Did anyone watch Mexico-Brazil yesterday?

I nearly died laughing when they made Borghetti take his penalty kick three times.

Too bad Brazil was so flat in the second half, because they're just so amazing technically. 🙁

I've tried not to be a Brazil fan because it's so, well, easy and cliche.

But play the game so well, I will grudgingly admit that I'll tune in just to watch them show how it should be done.

Too bad they couldn't win it, but somehow I think they'll be back.

The commentators mentioned that like 10,000 people showed for their first training session in Germany, I believe. 😲

FIFA sets penalty kick standards! The headline nobody will use; but that is what it looked like to me. #1 In net, but offensive encroachment (the player on the right end of the arc). #2 Goalkeeper off line and saves. #3 Legal but goalie reads right and saves. All according to the book.

Good game, but Brazil may of had some bad luck on occasion.

So, KC, have you been able to make it to any of these matches in person?

What's up with those Mexican players leaving the team?

Mein deutsch ist nicht gut y Bora Milutinovic habla espanol mejor que yo.

If El Tri doesn't lose focus, they might go Australia-American Samoa on Greece.

Mexico & Brazil go through.

Mexico was already through to the 2nd round.

But they may have been Sleepwalking through a game. (Like when they played their WCQ in Panama.)

well... Carmona and Galindo, are back in Mexico and no one knows the reason why. 😎

today's match was kinda boring, although I think Greece had some pretty good chances, Mexico once again didn't leave any spaces.

Now Mexico- Argentina
Germany- Brazil

we'll see what happen 😎
