Ellinger on Fitzgerald

Recently, former Columbus Crew & UCLA coach Tom Fitzgerald was recently killed in a motorcycle accident.

John Ellinger knew him well & there's an article with some quotes from him at MLSNet.

This is a big loss for his family, of course; but also for everyone who is a soccer fan.

I am in Florida and talk a lot to other soccer nutz here. We are all very saddened by the loss of such a great and quality coach/person in Fitzgerald. I assumed, but didn't know til today, that Ellinger and he were good friends.
His players, teams, friends and most of all his family will miss him greatly.
Rest In Peace.
