US Egypt under 20 WC (R)

Sorry, Jules.

What? A Sigi Schmidt team played conservative, possession soccer? No!

1-0 to the US.

Who are we playing next?

I didn't think they played that conservatively. The lads just couldn't finish.

Italy--on Tuesday, I think.

Do they play defensively too? 😉

*siiiiiggggghhh*

alterego: yea!!!

I only saw the last 30 minutes. The Egyptian keeper looked hurt but did a great job while I was there. I mentioned to my husband that Egypt looked a lot like RSL missing chances, passing a little off-target at tims, but overall not bad.

Egypt only gave up 5 goals, scoring none. I believe all of the goals scored against them were in the second half.
