No I am not happy about the drought...

here is my idea on what should be done....

in the minute we tie the record we make as much noise as humanly possible... Drums, cowbells, horns, air horns, bullhorns, miraccas(sp?) sing ALL WE SAYING IS GIVE US A GOAL for that minute then when and if the minute comes that we surpass the record everyone abruptly stops everything no noise no drums singing, noise makers....NOTHING!!!! we all sit down!!!
for an entire minute! then resume our normal stuff after the minute...

Let's do this one instead. Seems a happy medium between "wearing bags" and "cheer you bloody throats dry". We'll have to have one or more people timing the event. Publicizing it throughout the stadium in some manner wouldn't hurt either. Such as Glenn and the drummers doing a drum roll the first minute BEFORE the tieing (spelling ?) minute.

I'm down. I can get the first few rows of my section (E37) involved. We're streamer fools! The near lethal barrage of streamers after the first goal during the WCQ came from us!

Additionally, for those who decide to wear bags, what if we were to draw (with highly visible black marker) a sad face with a tear coming out of one eye or something? Then it wouldn't be quite the harsh statement some are concerned about.

So then, to sum up, we have the following:

1. "All We Are Saying" chant DURING the tie-ing minute OR tons of noise
2. Black Streamers AT the moment we PASS the record
3. Paper Bags/sit-down/silence DURING the minute AFTER we PASS the record
4. Become overly-enthused Loyalists (is there such a thing?) AFTER the minute of silence.

With all that said, wouldn't it be something if we never even had to do any of this? :D

Lastly, shouldn't we be planning on doing something special for our boys if they actually DO score before the dreaded moment? Heck, even if they score at all!?!?!??!

I'll plan on bringing two sets of streamers (black set, and RSL colors set) and two paper bags, one with a crying face on it and one with a simple happy face on it - like this guy: :D

All we are saying should start long, long before that. You know sing it until we are sick of it, and then sing it some more.
