I don't know Spencer personally, but I know some of his friends, and they don't seem to be the most, errrr, employed individuals, shall we say.

Sounds about right for someone born with a silver spoon in their mouth. I'm pretty sure that he hasn't had to work much his entire life.

If Spencer wants to do the Post game, let him.
But it could be cool if they got Wayne or someone in there as a third commentator.

Look guys, i am not a loyalist, but i am a huge real fan. I realize everyone here is a huge soccer fan and are working hard to create a great atmosphere at the game etc, but take what you get man! I personally think the post game show is awesome, and i love the idea of actually having someone inside the organization being able to directly hear us, and answer our questions. Think about the jazz, when can you actually ask someone in team management a question??? NEVER!!!! Why critisize the media for not knowing the gave correctly, when they are at least COVERING US??? Heck, i bet we get more local media coverage than all the other teams put together. I have a cousin in denver that didin't even know they still had their team! Instead of being so negative about it, just take what you get! We are an expansion team, and things will get better and people will become more educated. Just demonstrate a little patience with them first.

P.S. I thought the black streamers thing was pretty tacky myself. i know it meant nothing against the players, but c'mon guys!

I heard the whole show and he really wasn't negative about the black streamers. He mostly tacked around the whole issue. It was more that he thought it was a quirky response to the situation. He made it clear that he didn't want to hear about the record again--it's done, so let's move forward.

Once again he praised RSL supporters, as did Clint Mathis, who was interviewed at the start of the show (and at halftime by Wayne and Hatch). Clint was asked how the RSL crowd compares to others around the league, and he said he's never seen anything like it. I can second that.

I think the show is OK for something so new. I'm sure it will continue to develop. I fully appreciate dysko's take on soccer knowledge in the booth, though. It does seem to be more of a call in show rather than an analysis show.

The call in show is just that, a call in show. they have it after the jazz games where there isn't someone from the FO there, just scotty. So it's just a chance for us to express ourselves.

and more cowbell

And "more cowbell" did make aanother appearance. Way to go.

I have no problem with it being a call-in show. If someone wants true tactical analysis of the game, though, a call-in show may not be where to go.

I just find it entertaining, and I hope they keep hosting it. For those of us who are not in Utah, it's a big plus.

For those of us in utah, it's super. I don't look for analysis at night, that's why I get on the board afterward. "I just want to sing father"

Join the Loyalists. It will be the best $15 you've ever spent.

Have you listened to 700 AM? They used to give RSL tons of coverage, but now they don't give any unless someone calls up to talk about RSL. 1280 hardly talks about RSL too. We as fans need to be calling up these shows and getting them to talk about RSL all the time. Even if anti-soccer jerks call the show to bash RSL, we're still getting people to talk about RSL and as they say in advertising, any advertising is good advertising.

Most people in Denver don't know that they have any teams other than the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies, and Avalanche. I agree, anyone talking about RSL is a good thing even if they don't know what they're talking about. Education comes with experience.

The players didn't think it was tacky. D.J. Countess gave his goalie gloves to Bardguy. Seth Trembly and Jaime Watson came over to the Loyalist corner and thanked us personally. I'm sure the players were just as frustrated with the scoring impotence as the fans. At least they know we care.

I personally thought it was awesome...it showed that we are not just "fans" who go the the games because its the next fad in utah...it showed that we are educated fans and know what the heck is going on....

Good work boys! I'm telling you, though, you're getting a run for your money from us over in section 37. I think we doubled the number of black streamers and tripled the number of RSL colored streamers the "loyalist section" threw.
