Kasey Keller is one of my all-time favorite soccer players. I went to see him play at Millwall back in 1995.

I'm sure he would have helped the team a lot. The thing that would have worried me is that he probably would have run screaming to another team at the first possible chance after having to play behind RSL's joke of a defense for a while. And could you blame him?

Anyway, I believe his deal was only for 1 year with Borussia Moenchengladbach, so I still do hope he plays here next season....behind a vastly improved defense, of course.

She vetoed a move to Turkey a few years back too.

They made it all the way to Turkey to sign when someone asked his agent about it. The story I remember is "I don't care if you sit the bench in the third division! London is our home."

Not that keeping the wife happy is a bad thing.

I suppose that depends on the wife.

I would say Keller could have saved a lot more goals then are starterting goalies did, Keller could have easily gotten atleast a couple more wins and a few more ties even with are struggling defense this year.
