What do you do for a living?

Last post for me before I hit the sack tonight...

I thought it might be interesting to hear what people did for a living. Me first. I work as an "Implementation Project Manager" for a small software company in downtown SLC. I essentially get new clients going on the new software that they purchase from the company I work for, which includes training them. The software we produce can be fairly involved, which is why we have special people to do what I do. I've only been doing it for about 3 months now. I was "promoted" from the more technical side of my company.

I'm a Quality Assurance Manager for a Silicon Valley corporation (I better not mention their name). What this really means is that I make sure that our category descriptions are consistent with what's in our database. I make adjustments where needed. I watch for trends going on on the Internet and define those trends and make implementations as needed based on those trends. I oversee a group of roughly 15 Content Analysts and am responsible for their training. I also work on special projects and write reports for our technical staff.

I’m a student so I really only have a crappy part time job, but I do work in the cool Loyalist section of downtown 😉

I'm a Network Admin for a call center in Orem. I maintain all our Windows servers (File, Print, DNS, DHCP, Exchange) and our Linux Mail servers. I have TONS of work, but always find time to look at the boards at least once a day. If not, I end up reading 300 posts when I get home...
