Blue shorts. Need to wear the blue shorts. The all-white roadies just aren't right.

Gotta change something.

Only 8,114 in attendance.

So much for the great support in Chicago.

MOTM: D.J. Countess for sacraficing his body to save the goal. Ray Hudson, "I hope his girl friend isn't watching." Classic!

Everything at Iggy's was going fine and then someone started eating chicken. That is when the wheels fell off. So, DON'T ORDER CHICKEN AT IGGY'S DURING THE GAME.

But....
the 8000 there were awesome! The best IMO. Did anyone else notice they sang the clementine chant for 10minutes! I only wish we could sustain a chant for longer than 2.

Section 8 is something to strive for. they sounded great.

Ok, so no club sandwich, nachos or chicken. Does that leave anything?

It's still a pathetic turnout for a second place team.

I personally don't get get worked up by the chanting. I know for others it's the only true measure of support--so be it. I don't judge support by volume or the amount of face paint.

I particularly think the "you suck" call is stupid and sophomoric, and I heard that one throughout the game. It's not even remotely clever and certainly not classy. I'd rather not see us emulate that kind of thing.

What impresses me about Section 8 is that they have linked several groups behind that banner without having any group give up its individual identity. That's the model to emulate.

I'd rather see another 10,000 paying customers on the expensive seats. They may not stand and chant, but they pay the bills that keep teams afloat that give the GA's a game at which to stand and chant. That's Capitalism.

Nice effort by our team. Best they've looked on the road in a while. Just ran into one the better teams in the league. Could have used the penalty call, but sometimes you have to put the ball in the back of the net on your own I guess.

Hope DJ is OK. That shot he took for the team was painful to watch.

Great free kick by Kreis. That was a missile. Great sounding supporter's group they have in Chicago. I've thought they were one of the more vocal and organized groups in the league for some time.

Next up a rematch against the Metrostars and this one won't be played in a hurricane.

Hoping that RSL provides plenty of fireworks on the 4th before the fireworks show after the match.

for a supporter's club, that was amazing turn out. For the rest of the city, they must have been wasted after the white sox/cubs rubber match earlier in the day.

I never heard the you suck. the only personal chant i heard was fire reject. They sustained some of their chants for 10+minutes. That's awesome. I love watching the games, but I love participating like no other sport allows you to.
