No, it just means that RSL will release someone else or reassign someone like Luke Kreamameyer to a Dev contract instead of a Senior Roster spot to make room for Cabrera.

I need to look at the team again to see where we are with roster caps. But I think we are the full 18 senior and 10 developmental (28) roster.

Correct, and these moves must be made by Friday, otherwise those currently assigned to the senior roster have contracts guaranteed.

I wish I knew. However Cabrera is in SLC and is practicing with the team. I've heard from some Guatemalan fans that say Cabrera had a chance to play in Europe but WANTED to play in the US.
Lets hope that means RSL will like him and sign him.

Broome is not going to be called up by Arena.

What about Cabrera? Has he been playing for the Chapines?

He is considered the Guatemalan's star defender.
But I don't know if he has been called into their Gold Cup camp. I guess not since he is SLC this week.

Sounds like we may have another deal comming up, very soon, with Cabrera. This is certainly interesting. 😁

He is the best defender on a rising Guatemala team. The cream of the crop. He has been listening to offers from a couple of teams in the first division in Denmark, but has put tem off because he wants to be here. I think the success of Guillermo Ramirez, and Carlos Ruiz have really fueled some of their desires to come here. I would be pretty upset if they didn't get him. I have heard some other teams have shown interest in him too, bt this is the first time he has had serious discussions with one. Los Communicaciones, his team in Guate fully expects to NOT have him, they have picked up a few Catrachos to replace him already.

I would be ticked if we didn't get him. I don;t know about a HUGE immediate impact, but give him a little time getting used to the faster league and i think we have a steal.

He is on the roster (according to the Gold Cup website).
And many of the Loyalists are also saying that he can't sign until Aug 15, so there you go. 🙁
