Our Chat last night made me think about something?

How many people here golf? I sure don't........I swing at a ball; once in a while, I hit it and less frequently than that, it goes where I want it.

But the Metrostars and the Galaxy (and probably some other teams) have golf tournaments. I think that they are fundraisers for team charities.

The next time someone is at Trolley Square, can you ask if they are going to organize a golf tournament next year? And if so, when, where, which players, etc.

And I might be able to use a golf tournament to "convert" some friends & coworkers who love golf but who say they don't like soccer.

If I knew more about golfing than 'putt-putt' ('miniature golf' in Utah) I would be excited about it. It is always fun to see the players off the field in a more relaxed atmosphere.
