We have at least 1 Senior International slot open right now. maybe two since Rojas was let go.
But we have room for him.

or do we?

Kreamalmeyer to dev squad replacing Noah Palmer who was waived this week.
Gregorio replaces Kreamalmeyer on the Senior Roster.
Broome comes in to senior roster filling an empty slot ???? / or was he the replacement for Rojas. If so how can we have an SI slot and no Roster slot?

I am so confused...

RSL got the "rights" to him.

Anything outside of the US will have to take place between Aug 15 & Sept 15. FIFA transfer window.

This Friday contracts become garanteed (sp?) with two exceptions. I think the team has to declare on that date [7-1] which two players are on the bubble but I'm not sure.

Don't fool yourself. They have software that keeps track of that stuff.

[yeah, this is WAY off topic, but I couldn't resist...sorry]

It is good to know that we are at the mercy of programmers for all of this. I can imagine trying to code up those rules. I am sure that there would NEVER be a bug in that code...

if (playerAge < 17) {
underSeventeenPick--;
}
else {
regularPicks--;
}

etc. etc. etc.

Yeah, I don't want to write that code.

And you're at the mercy of my husband to make sure your credit card is secure. If that's not comforting, I don't know what is.

I was thinking he looks like he oughta be holding a teacup in one hand and a crumpet in the other...but it's just the picture. I've seen way too many soccer pictures that seem like the laws of physics and anatomy have been rescinded, so.

But that one of Landon with the limp wrist is dead-on.

I think we are building a team for today and tomorrow.

When Ellinger took his U17s to place 4th in the world, the OLDEST of those young men are now 23. He has helped these guys beat some of the best in the world.

Our reserves, for the most part, are younger. Add some of the seniors on the roster and you, for the most part, see leaders who enrich the team. Our composition seems to be getting better and better.

Coach E started with a few known quantities and the majority were left unprotected by their original teams. Obviously, the protected players were the ones thought to have the most value.

It is just now that Coach E is in a position to really able to begin putting together "his team." Way to go Coach E! We're with you!
