Cletus seems to play better when he is pissed off or when he has a point to prove. Otherwise, he goes through periods of complacency…

The secret: Let’s keep him pissed!

I know this isn't his girlfriend, but does anyone know Cletus' girlfriend's name?

I thought he was actually at his best back in his Galaxy days. With Metro, he gained some attitude but seemed distracted (not unusual in NYC) and his work ethic suffered.

I have no real evidence for this but I think we'll get the best of both--effort and attitude. Mathis has matured tremendously over the past three years, and RSL will be the beneficiary of that. If he can stay healthy and focused he will lead RSL to great things, especially with the other vets on this team to complement him.

If you'd asked me two years ago if I'd want Mathis on my team, I'd have said no. Now, I think he may be the key to RSL's drive to establish itself as a winner.
