I have lived in some really big cities, in a couple of different countries, the fairpark area is a virtual pleasantville in comparison to some places. My concern was with 1) availability of Trax and mass transit. 2) Atmosphere (Renovating a pig pen as opposed to A brand new stadium downtown) 3) Freeway Access. 4) Access to local businesses (shops, restaurants and downtown attractions.) my $0.02

I agree with Deuce. Access to local business is huge, and the fairpark is in the middle of a residential neighborhood (except North Temple).
And, as a former West High Panther, I know the neighborhood well and can vouch for its safety. I can also vouch for the food at Red Iguana. The brightspot of North Temple's famous cuisine.

I think that the fairpark would be a decent site for the stadium, especially if other development follows, but it is absolutely not my top choice.
I am getting to the point where I just want to know where it is. * grammar cop strikes again __________________
