London Market

I hadn't recalled seeing it discussed so I thought I'd bring up the London Market. It's a really cool shop just south of the RSL FO. The place is packed with things you'll find in the UK, and if they don't have something you saw while you were over there, they'll try to get it in for you.

The ladies that run it are really sweet and have the british accent too. When you walk in this place it feels like you're in a shop in Europe. I totally dig it.

I went by the other day to make sure their families were okay after the bombing and also picked up a few things while I was there. Got some Club Apple, Ginger beer, Yorkies with Biscuits and Raisins, and some sherbert lemons. I would have picked up some things from the frozen foods, like sheppard's pies or crumpets, but I was going to be out too long and didn't want my stuff thawing in the hot car.

Go in and say hi, and make sure you support this store. It's got great stuff. Look for the Union Jack on the sign out front.

I've been wanting to go there for the longest time. I guess it's about time I finally go.

Are they RSL fans?
It would be cool if they were.

That is a regular stop for me..
I love that shop... it is very much like an authentic corner shop in Britain.
My favorite thing to get there is English style bacon. It is hard to get in the summer cos it thaws out to quickly! same with the shepherds Pie... and Steak and Ale Pie.

I love the yorkshire puddings, Bisto and the sage and onion stuffing.

The dime bars, mint and orange aero bars are to die for.

although smith's carries the Bassets Licorice All Sorts so I get them cheaper at smiths.

They have a bunch of different jarred curry flavors like my favorite Rogan Josh and Tikka Masala... and even korma... Yummmy!

If you have never been there... go! It really makes me wish i was back in the UK every time I go....

How hard is it to get to from the stadium without a car? I might stop by when I'm up overnight for the Rapids - RSL game at the end of the season.

It is a few blocks from the light rail line, as long as you don't buy too much, it should be fine.
