Non resident tuition may be a factor.

But starting the 28th of july ill be in the brigham city area with family and plan to borrow a car to get to each game, and hopefully to all the viewing parties at iggy's too.

thanks for the info and willingness to help

As a fellow UC type person here are my suggestions:

1: Get a ride with the Loyalists-UC carpool. Just post here and somebody is bound to be on their way, on their way, to watch the game, to hope-for-the-Cup... etc. (you'll learn that chant soon enough...)

2: You can make it to Rice-Eccles(RES) via UTA. If you are a BYU student you should have a transit pass so you can ride for free! yee haw. You would want to take the 811 bus from University and 1200 N (or thereabouts, its next to Zions Bank and across from Provo High) and get to the TRAX station in Sandy and then ride from there to the Gallivan Center (I think) stop and transfer to the University line and you'll be at RES in no time.

After the game hop back on TRAX and catch the 811 bus headed back from Sandy/TRAX.

UTA takes a lot longer but it works in a pinch. Also, my nephew and I find it convenient to take the car to TRAX in Sandy and then ride up to RES from there. Then we don't have to fight traffic or parking and can also chit chat with other RSL fans on the way up. Its kind of inspiring to see the sea of red flow onto TRAX on its way to RES. (red as in RSL Claret red... not UTE red. UC=BYU fan.. ha ha ha)

Good luck. :holiday:

It's not worth attending a 4th-rate, good for nothing, rathole "University" just to make travel to soccer games a little easier. You can easily get rides from Provo.

GO BYU

OK, so we know where you stand. Couldn't disagree more, but that's the way it goes.

Haha i didnt mean to start a byu-ute bashing fest, but i think thats something ill have to get used to when i get out there. Thank you for all your suggestions, once school starts ill post if i need a ride, and hopefully a fellow member will be able to help me out (i would help pay for gas or anything else of course) The trax looks good most of the time, although i found that for night games, the schedule does not show any late buses from sandy back to provo, but other then that it looks like a viable option.

We tend to get side-tracked a lot...

Don't worry about transportation to the games. Just let us know and I or one of the other UC "Southerners" will give you a ride. It's not like it's out of our way. It's not like we weren't planning to go anyway. It's more fun to drive up with other supporters, anyway.
