I'm going to give my two excuses... 1) My company party is the same day, free for employees and $10 for friends and family. Kindof hard to beat, at least in most peoples eyes. 2) The people that were interested, or partially interested, do not have paypal accounts and I don't have enough to cover them.

Apparently there are some logistical issues, but if we could have had the tickets in hand, it would have been easier to sell. At least that's my feeling.

Jules or Glenn or Dave, perhaps you could run this "ticket in hand" idea to the FO so that next time we can do things differently.
If not an actual ticket at least a "coupon" or something.

Not to brag or anything, but between my husband and I we have sold 28 tickets!! Do I win?.. just kidding. We've convinced people that they are getting such a good deal, a $25 dollar seat plus free food for only $13.. can't beat that! I'm just excited, it's going to be so much fun πŸ˜‰

The best way we could do this is, for example, for 10 Loyalists here to buy 10 tickets each. This would require giving cash today to either the Front Office or Dave or Glenn or me or whoever. Then we would get those tickets printed up and available for pickup tonight. Then you would have 48 hours to sell sell sell with tickets IN HAND. But you'd assume all the risk and have to fork out the cash upfront.

FYI. You don't have to have a PayPal account to pay for the tickets. You can just use a credit card to checkout with. When you tell it how many you want and click the "Secure Checkout" button, it gives you the option to either login to PayPal and use your PayPal account or checkout with a credit card.

I just now paid for 8 and should have at least 6-10 more by days end. Anyone know what the real-time numbers for tickets sold are?

Are there going to be any tickets available on game day? I know a few friends that want tickets but don't have access to a credit card but would still like some. I'm sure if we told people they could buy tickets on gameday we could get quite a few more.

Glenn and I will meet the at FO Friday to pick up tickets...

Agreed, tickets in hand would have made things easier... hind sight... anyhow, I applaud those who have and still are doing thier best.

Keep it up... as of now we don't have an agreement for ticket sales Saturday, but I will see what if we can work something out.
