That stinks!! At least you got to meet me. So that almost sort of pretends to make up for some tiny percentage of a piece of missing the goal!
All of you who are talkign about watching the game on video and rewatchign it.... hello! Can I please borrow it?? Our copy didn't work out! I'm a Trembly fan, but I would have liked to see Chris starting this game. I also agree: where's Tiger? | |||||

I dont agree with where Tiger, he pushes great on offense but he lets his man run on defense. Brown was getting road on top of the whole way down the field, shouldn't have been a pk but it makes for the the first game we went to the home depot center and they got a pk to win that game. Rusty is not the same rusty of old right now, gotta give him a break he hasn't played in a while.

Broome has been an excellent addition. It was so nice to see him and Pope Eddie the 23rd doing things like actually getting goal side on attackers.

And cheetos were our lowest attendance too. Interesting. We're still averaging over 20,000 and in second place overall. I'm not sure how we'll ge the numbers up for KC. They're not exactly the most exciting team to watch. Of course, we gave them a good game in our only other meeting and it would be great to return the favor in that 2-3 loss. __________________

For once I can comment on a game I saw in the stadium, not on TV. Fair evaluation, Bordy. We actually weren't all that bad in the midfield, at least until the point where we served the ball. Kinda important, that. There were several times when we worked the ball very well through the midfield and into the PA but fizzled at that point. Andy Williams was the difference, of course, and it was great to see him work so hard for the team. He was completely gassed by the 60th minute--he gave it everything he had. I disagree with much of what I've read about the PK call. In the stadium it looked like Martinez raised his arm to shove off and made no attempt at the ball. I was surprised it was called only because refs often ignore that kind of foul. When I watched the replay I didn't see anything to change my mind that it was a proper call, regardless od Wynalda's inability to shut up about how he disagreed with it. Was it disputable? Yes. Was it a bad call? No. It was a judgement call by the ref. Also, the way cheetos play--chippy fouls, simulating (Romo)--may have come back to hit them in the face. When a team constantly plays that way, the benefit of the doubt will go against them. Reaping what you sow, so to speak. __________________

I heard Rusty complaining to Jamie that he didn't have any explosion. It looked to me like he had lost too much flexibillity when he was running. __________________
