Oh yeah, and I hope I have time to make my chocolate cake for the tailgate.

The tailgate ought to be big because the discount tickets we're selling technically includes a "Free Tailgate."

How about they just let us have 15 men on the pitch? (And Chivas can have five.)
I say put Brown in and if needed sub Trembly in later. And same with Jamie, he's Mr. SuperSub.

That's what I'd do as well. Trembly brings so much punch off the bench. Cutler, from all accounts, appears to be developing into a decent solution for d-mid. I'm going to make a special effort during this game to watch his play, just because I haven't especially been focusing on him a lot (and d-mids generally get lost in the shuffle, especially as far as big plays are concerned)

And, of course, Behncke coming in for Pope at about the 60th would bring in a much needed spark on defense.

Ok, not so serious about that last one.

Who's on drugs??

Earlier in the season, people were really talking down about Brownie, but he's really proved himself the last little while. Very versatile and very consistent. I've personally really liked him during the whole season.

I don't remember any bad talk about Brown (other than the decision to place him in the back). I've always seen him as the player that has always done well and is consistent yet seems to get overlooked a lot.

Me either... I can not recall a single bad comment about Brown...

I looked at Brownie and Evan Whitfield and placed much value on both players... too bad the team gave up a good midfielder in Whitfield for a "go to" striker that has been anything but!

I'm optimistic about getting a win, pessimistic about scoring in the north, and wondering which version of Chivas we'll be seeing. The "Beat One of the Best Teams in the League (Oh and that team in the eastern conference too...)" version or the "We Can't Beat the North Dakota U11 Girls Team." (Borrowing from J.L.L.'s joke after the last Chivas/RSL game.)

It's gonna be hot. And sweaty. And I feel another sunburn coming on, which ticks me off ahead of time. And I hope that we sell a ton of tickets and have a great presence for ESPN2.

Amen.
AGREE.. WOULD LIKE TO SEE WATSON GET IN THE LINE UP. HE BRINGS SO MUCH ENERGY TO THE GAME AND DEFINETLY KNOWS HOW TO GET INTO THE OPPOSING TEAMS HEAD.. REALLY THROWS THEM OFF THEIR GAME...

Watson will be up top with Washington tonight in the reserve match.

The determining factor for whether he will get much time on Saturday will be how much time he has in tonights match....

Uhh, sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree here. Cutler plays d-mid. I like both Brown and Trembly, but please don't put them on the field playing d-mid. That is not the place for them. That said I would probably lean toward Trembly. He seems to be a bit more productive than Brown. At least use Trembly as a sub.
