❗ theloyalists.com maybe closing!!

Dear Loyalist Leadership,

This is from GutBomb, aka Jason aka the guy who is
taking care of our website:

around $15 because when doing that it also renews it
for another year. I'm sorry for the
inconvenience.

So basically, his company is going out of business. We
need to 1)buy the web domain name from Jason at $15
2)find a new location for the website (maybe Neil can
help).

Any thoughts? I get the impression that Jason is
losing the site by Saturday (Jan 1 2005), so we have
to work fast.

Please get back to me. Call 321-663-7001

Thanks Deuce (who was also kind enough to call me and confirm his help).
Unless Loyal1(Glenn aka Prez) or dysko(Dave aka VP) say otherwise, what we'll do is have Deuce by the 2005 domain rights for the Loyalists. That will take care of Problem #1.

I'll check out your web host Deuce.
I am not sure what is a good price for hosting off the top of my head. Any suggestions?

I can host it. It will cost me an extra $3 a month to add another domain, so that's not too bad.

Great Neil, thanks. So basically the Loyalists Club would have to come up with $36 to pay you, correct?
Would we have SQL/MS Frontpage extension compability?
Email me the details if you like.
Thanks

I'm not worried about the money. If people continue to sign up as site supporters than that should be fine.

You people are awesome...
In the final days (and the hectic nature of it) before my wedding I have turned here for a little bit of stress relief. Then to see that our site was in trouble was less than ideal...
So trying to find some kind of respite, I come here and see the problem has been resolved by the resourceful members that we have.
Thanks for everything Ethan, Neil and others who I don't know by name who have come together to save theloyalists.com.

P.S. I will be gone until January 6 starting Wednesday.

It's got Frontpage and SQL goodness for days and days! :D Although you should have been able to answer the SQL one yourself. 🙂

And congrats Dave, enjoy the honeymoon.

Let me know if the hosting doesn't work out. I'll talk to my boss and see if we can use some bandwidth. However, all our servers are Apache, mysql and PHP, I can see about SQL and FP. I was batting around the idea of hosting a theloyalist.com e-mail server if anyone might be interested in that? I haven't worked out details, but if there's interest I can look at it more...
