All sports games are better than other video games. Shooters will always be shooters. RPG's will always having you look for someone's chickens. Adventure will always be some bloody quest....

but sports....each sport is unique and each game a different challenge with different strategies. I love NCAA '06 and Madden, but then I get the urge and play NHL and FIFA, or switch to NBA Live or Tiger Woods.

Each unique and different, and I am addicted to each of them

you cant say "shooters will always be shooters" until you've played WWII online.

its above and beyong any FPS. 1/2 scale map of europe and 3000 players using tanks, air support, navy, and tons on infantry

How involved is it? Can you change the outcome of the war or is it just an online shooter set in WWII?? If it had RTS/Role-playing elements combined I would be interested. I figure that the best games are those you can take some ownership in... where you develop or grow or improve depending on your performance, and it gets rewarded/noticed. Anyhow, I'll have to look it up.

you can completely change the face of the game by your decisions. imaginf a GIGANTIC capture the flag game (very basically thats what it is). every town has about 5 flags in certain buildings, some cities like amsterdam have 20 flags. once you own all the flags you own the town. there are thousands of towns. the front lines change all the time. there have been times that my squad took all night to take over 5-6 towns and the next morning the austrailians who played allies while we were sleeping took most those towns back.

I cannot even begin to explain how invlolved players are in the outcome of this game. just something you'll have to see for yourself. mabe next time they have free trials i'll let ya know!

as you get more kills and complete more user-made missions (i.e hold certain bridge or town for so long, capture a certain flag, even staying alive for 20 mins playing defense gets you points) then you gain use of more weapons and equipment like the Stuka Bomber or better tanks to drive.

AWESOME game to say the least. VERY involing, ver realistic (one shot head shots) love it!

I just got FIFA Street 2. Fun. You can't play as MLS teams, but you can play as the USA. Guess who is third best on the US team? Clint Mathis. And Freddy Adu is the best.

Very inaccurate.

I highly recommend FIFA WOrld Cup '06. It's a fantastic game, you get to qualify through the North Americas to the world cup.

you get to select the team (there's about 30 US players to choose from) and it's a great ride.

I highly recommend it. If you have FIFA 06, it's still worth the 30$ to have this game as well. plus they have all the updated kits......if you like that sort of thing.
