Dysko tried coordinating with them, they weren't interested.

Samba Gringa has been starting to branch out into singing and chants lately... they've been doing the DJ Countess chant quite a bit, and they have this one song that goes, "whoooooaaaaoooooaaaaooo, Real Salt Lake, we want another goal" that's kind of catchy.

I suspect most people can't hear it though, just like I can't hear most of what goes on at the north end of the stadium.

Riki tiki tamba, love my samba!

Remember, this is not a concert, it is a soccer game; noise, music, chants and cheering of all kinds are welcome and really add to the overall excitement of the game.
If you like the Loyalist drum cadences and chants, sit by (or join in with) them. If you like continual samba, sit near (or join in with) Samba Gringa. If you like complaining about the confusion of hearing multiple diverse ways of team support, then by all means sit right between them (on your hands).

Nobody here sits on their hands.

There's nothing wrong with trying to get some coordinated cheers going. If some groups are unwilling to to that, so be it.

I'm not sure we will have to worry about that for much longer. I got the impression that they were contracted for one year to help with atmosphere, not knowing what the crowds were going to be like. However, if we get a few more drums, especially some big bass drums, they may not be back because the supporters groups make enough noise without them.

Of couse I may be completely off base, but that is what I remember Steve saying.

Also good to know.

I'm not saying that I don't like them playing, don't get me wrong, but a little coordination might be nice if they stick around.
