For the impact he had on the game tonight we actually gave him MOTM. It was a tough one to call though, Scarlett really made a difference. Just dissapointed that a game that should have been a 0-0 was 1-0 because of a silly goal gifted to them.

I think he still might be nursing an injury.

Yeah, Steve Pastorino said as much at the Tailgate before the game.

And I have to agree that the standout in this game was Will Scarlett. I'm sorry, too many Robinhood movies when I was growing up...Robert Scarlett!

I've been waiting all season for SOMEONE to take the ball down the side and cross it in. There's a reason that that is the most common type of attack in this game. The only problem is that he got there so quickly that the strikers were still out of position when the cross came.

I bet that will work out, though when they get used to him getting through.

Scarlett has earned that starting position, no questio, Gregorio too. Brilliant.

Broome got juked out of his shorts on the play. Chung flung him in a circle, Nolly played a great game... he actually dares to come of his line, and dive on balls that are going across the net. Props to Nolly and hopefully many more starts, Scarlett is going to be a force in this league.

R-Scar (oh, yes, we are funny) played really well, especially in the first half. It was great to see some speed and width in our attack... hallelujah!

Scarlett got my MOTM vote.

Nice to have an added dimension to the attack. We get everyone on the same page and the rest of league won't know what hit them.

This has been a problem all year. For some reason we have trouble getting numbers forward during the run of play. Nobody makes the follow-up runs. IMO Scarlett was awesome - he played his role perfectly. Gregorio was almost equaly as impressive. I hope they continue to impress and that they are the answer to the erratic wing play we've witnessed all year.

Hey Loyalists, email your MOTM votes to before 5 p.m. today (okay, so I won't really check it until tomorrow, but anyway..) We need to make this meaningful, and if only four people vote, that is not stellar.
