Is it possible to tie this into the Utah Adult Leagues?
Might get more people out that way.

We had 4 peeps last night which is an improvement by one over the last outing... and to me that is moving in the right direction.

Alot of peeps have expressed interest so lets keep the numbers climbing.
If we get two more we can at least get a little 3 on 3 going.

no one out there will be worse than me so you have nothing to fear... there will always be someone worse than you out there
So come on out and have some fun.

BTW the answer to an earlier question is Yes! Girls and women can play!
Just come on out.

It's funny I was only thinking about it because the Loyalists are setting up a team and I just don't feel fit enough, they asked if I would play and I said naaaah, I just don't feel fit enough, but they were all like "Dude, come play, no really we'll help you get fit again", so anyway we'll see if they manage to persuade me, cause I'd really like to be fit again.'

See how that goes, who knows, maybe you're already a marathon runner and just don't need it, but if not ...

Funnily enough, I was just talking to the wife the other day and tried to find a league to play in, so yes, defo, count me in, left or right back preferably, but I can play left or right wing if needed, but believe me until I get fitter you don't want me running the wings.

Did we find a coach? Matt Ellinger is a great coach, his last team in the east took state. I would bet I could persuade him to coach, if not the Peter mellor would do it for us no worries I am sure.

When are you playing next and where, I have a few friends that'll come, some pretty good ones too.... really good ones. and no one is not called Paul. ⚽

I will certainly make sure you know when we play again.
That is great stuff... Peter Mellor would be awesome.

I am so far out of shape at the moment that I am nearly in shape from the back way round!
I look forward to getting in shape and playing quite a bit... it is gonna be hard work but nothing that is easy is worthwhile...

Make sure and call me too, just emailing me or usingthe board, I might miss it.

Looking forward to it. Are we having any plans this week? Cause next week I'm in DC.

I talked with her last night - didn't use that particular angle, just let her know what I wanted to do, and she said that was OK! So I'm in as well!! Even though I played rec soccer for like 7 years, I suck, and now that I'm out of shape, I'll suck even worse. :P

I believe this is a combined effort between the Loyalists and RCB. RCB has a thread on their board with all the people that have volunteered so far - it might be up around 20 now. You best get your name on there too Scholesy. We wouldn't want to miss having a "Scholes" on our team. 😁

Ummm, with Mr. Cars-mart on the team, did we just find a sponsor? Just an idea. 😉

I'm getting pumped up about this.
