Anyway, it is entirely possible the background was photoshopped. I've only been to Park City once, but the backdrop in that picture certainly doesn't look like anything I saw there.
It was kind of scary...

It was creepy how most of the "fan club" seemed to be men and I could be wrong but that site appears to be made by a guy. Not that that is creepy in and of itself...

It just felt odd... a little stalkerish maybe... dunno... can't really put my finger on it.

It think the "stalkerish" vibe certainly contributed heavily to the creepiness. I agree that its difficult to articulate exactly what about it was odd...but I sure know my gut level reaction is that is there is definitely something off about it.

Exactly... the little voice in my head when it was not screaming at me to stop trying to define Pi by saying "it is bloody apple!" was nagging at me to leave that site cos it felt I needed to take my brain out and scrub it with a bar of Ivory soap or something.

anywho!!!
That is what the little voice was saying... I hope it didn't disturb you...

The little voice doesn't disturb me, although I'll admit my own little voice is a little more direct. There was nothing in there about defining Pi -- it rather plainly and simply urged me to move my browsing elsewhere. After a good and thorough cleansing, that is.

I went to the site, but had to leave immediately. IT HURT!! Maybe the 'vibe' you two got was um....never mind. 😉 I'm thinking/hoping I'm at the same place mentally as you two are. Hard to say since I shaved my head. 🕺

The girl who started that site is a common visitor to this site, and she's super nice. That pic is a real one. he actually did sit alone on the fence for quite a bit of the game. When I saw him later in the week, he said it was because his dog was not friendly with the other player's dogs, so he had to sit all by himself.

I was thinking the same thing (if I was there). Guess we'd have to "share".
