Pictures from News Conference

Today I had three things going against me.
1) Not my camera (was a work camera, a Kodak 1 megapixel job that was about 3 years old)
2) rubbish camera (that by the way was not mine)
3) Magenta lights... this camera (did I mention it was not mine 🙄 ) does not like magenta light for some reason. You will see what I am talking about when you open them!

Anyway I am somewhat embarrassed to say I took these but I will own up.
I did the best I could under the circumstances.

Kreis and Countess signing autographs.
Clint Mathis signing autographs
Evan Whitfield pen in hand!
DJ (Delvin) Countess
Jason Kreis
Cletus being interviewed for spanish television!
Group Shot (Howes, Pastorino, Mathis, Countess, Kreis, Whitfield and Ellinger)

The Prize
Me and Clint Mathis not pretty... this is a perfect example of why I am always behind the camera. A face made for radio!

Having a day job really has it's drawbacks 😠

But this summer I hope to be able to get the scoop(s).

Thanks.
there were about 100 ppl give or take 20 'ish
Alot more than were there for the Kreis announcement.

there was only one local tv station but all the newspapers were represented and some Spanish speaking news agents.

I was pretty mad when I saw the news bite on KSL. from the entire news conference they zeroed in on the joke he made about RSL going to be bigger than the JAZZ. that was it! Then the anchors gave the camera that 'yeah right' look and a little wink and it was all over!
The other two or three channels didn't even bother reporting the event! they reported about some really exciting ice fishing! seriously!

I'm very excited about the team we are putting together BUT! I'm still concerned about the Goalkeeper position. I'm still not convinced that Countess has earned his stripes yet. I hope the team either gets another keeper with a proven track record or that Countess proves me wrong.

I saw a short thing on Fox 13. It was nice, showed some shots of him and talked about it. It wasn't terribly long, but as long as other sports news!

Yesterday afternoon, after listening to the phone call thing at 1:00, I took a nap and dreamed about Clint Mathis. I think I had a girlish crush on him in my dream... must be because he looks like one of my ex-boyfriends. :p

p.s. John: Tell your wife that the good-looking aspect of the team is shaping up nicely.

Great pictures Deuce.

I can't believe I wasn't there. A picture with Mathis and the boys would have been priceless for me.

Hopefully we can get some of them to a Loyalists meeting.
