You can ride in the trunk or we can strap you to the top if you really want to go with us 😛
But even then I don’t think you want to go in a car full of girls listening and singing very loudly to 50's love songs. __________________

Good game.
Can I put results in here? Oh well, I'm doing it *WARNING* 😛 RSL win. 4-0. 2 goals by Tarley, both assisted by Scarlett, and also goals by Trembly and Cila. And does anyone know if that yellow card was for Trembly when him and Cila were doing the little goal celebration? __________________

RSL RESERVES 4, BYU 0
Tarley, Trembly & Cila Add the Scoring For RSL in Win Over Cougars SALT LAKE CITY (Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005) – Real Salt Lake reserves (2-5-2, 8 pts.) tallied its second win against the Brigham Young University Men’s Team in a 4-0 route at South Field in Provo, Utah. RSL’s four goals were scored by FW Melvin Tarley who had two first half goals for Real, and FW Jordan Cila and MF Seth Trembly who notched the second half goals. BYU tried to test RSL goalkeeper Jay Nolly early in the first half, when FW Jake Cavanaugh sent a shot sailing over the crossbar in the 6th minute. Just 10 minutes later, MF Adolfo Gregorio fired a 20-yard rocket forcing BYU ‘keeper Mike Lacey to make a diving save to push the ball out of play. RSL notched the games first goal when MF Andy Williams played a through ball to a breaking MF Robert Scarlett. Scarlett fed a nicely placed ball into Tarley who slid a shot pass the ‘keeper into the bottom corner in the 21st minute. The duo hooked up again just seven minutes later when Scarlett went streaking down the left sending a ball into the box for Tarley who buried it into the back of the net in the 28th minute ending the first half 2-0. RSL began the second half by adding its third goal of the game when Cila placed the ball at the feet of a cutting Trembly who drove a shot passed the ‘keeper in the 52nd minute. Both teams battled for most of the second half with Real holding most of the possession before Cila and Trembly would team up again for the fourth and final goal. Trembly would get the assist as he slid a pass over to Cila on the left who rocketed a low line drive into the lower left corner in the 83rd minute ending the game 4-0. Scoring Summary: RSL – Melvin Tarley (Robert Scarlett) 21 RSL – Melvin Tarley (Robert Scarlett)28 RSL – Seth Trembly (Jordan Cila) 52 RSL – Jordan Cila (Seth Trembly) 83 Real Salt Lake Reserves – Jay Nolly, Kevin Novak, Michael Lookingland, Cameron Knowles (Brian Dunseth 46), Sergio Flores, Adolfo Gregorio (Luke Kreamalmeyer 46), Kenny Cutler (Brian Kamler 46), Andy Williams (Leslie Fitzpatrick 46), Robert Scarlett (Seth Trembly 46), Melvin Tarley (Jordan Cila 46), Jamie Watson

My wifes sister went to the match... she said, "He is a really good looking guy. Is he single?" Does that answer your question? 😉 __________________

Cila did get a yellow for his antics after his goal. They took the corner flag (on BYU's side!) sat down and acted like it was a paddle in a kayak. Trembley also had some fun after his goal. He came over to the crowd and took a cowboy hat and pretended to giddyup on a horse. I don't think the BYU fans liked that one bit. Before the game he was chatting with the woman he took the hat from. I noticed a difference between Tarley and Watson. Tarley gets the ball in the box and puts it in. Watson doesn't. He kind of muffles about and then sends it back out, or to someone else in the box. Maybe he is looking for a clean shot. Anyhow, Tarley seems to just push it in somehow. Watson had some good runs and some excellent back and forth passing. One of the goals was on a beautiful give and go from Scarlett to Watson to Scarlett and then centered to Tarley. That was fun to watch.

From what I know about Watson, he can put in the net however if he sees someone open and he feels that person has a sure shot, he'll pass it off. I think that's called a team player. He still needs to gain some confidence and that will come in time. Next season, it won't be an issue IMO.

Rumor was that Kreis was going to play in this game, and now the rumor I'm seeing (on BS) is that he tore his MCL in practice? I'm kind of suspicious since I would have thought that someone on the board here would have broken that news already...anyone have a status?
