Forza Lazio!

Shmee I did not hear about that - bleeping lazio fans snuck their banners into a Roma game!!

In all seriousness, I wish the very few fans of all teams (yes including lazio) that ruin it for everyone else would disappear. I am and will always be Romanista, of course I will rip on anything I can get my hands on about lazio... but anytime a team has a problem like this, it sucks for all the soccer fans who don't get to watch their team the next week because of a few people's stupidity.

Well said, I agree. Do you think closed door / neutral site matches are a fair and/or effective punishment?

Probably not really, but I can't say that I can think of a better solution.

My Italy trip is finally winding down. The Olympics were okay, but I'm excited to get back down to Rome, in a few days. I'll be in Ascoli for an Ascoli-Roma game, and then I'll catch my beloved giallorossi in Rome a couple times too. I'm flying back to SLC near the end of the month, so I hope to see you all at the beginning of the season!

GO RSL!

Forza Roma!

P.S. My flight is going to suck. I go Rome-Munich-New York-San Francisco-Salt Lake. Ouch! I should see if they will let me parachute out over SLC when we fly to SF.

Ouch, that really bites. Too bad you can't just "miss" the flight at JFK and grab a cheap JetBlue redeye direct to SLC.
