Well, it was more like 11:30pm.

Spencer Checketts showed up to shelter him from the media, none of which showed up. I guess they had called the FO about when the phenom was arriving. Spencer thought that I had heard from one of the media. well...no.

Mom and Pop were nice and appropriately proud. Nik was pretty tired, it was a big day. The press release listed him at 6'1'', 175lbs. That would be close enough for jazz.

Niko will go back to FL to finish HS then join the team later. The reserve team schedule is expected to start in June too.

Who went to the Nik thingy?

I had transportation issues so I had to give up on the whole deal...
Was not happy about it, but in the end I just had to accept it.
Next time I will have an alternate plan in case the car lets me down again!

👍

I was there. Met Nik and also DJ Countess. It was very crowded and noisy, they had a mexican band (or bands) playing and dancers and lot's of people. I talked to Trey Fitz-Gerald and Steve Pastorino, as well. Joey Worthen was there and another "trial" player I hadn't met before and :o I forgot his name.

I met Nik and he seemed like a nice kid, but not used to this sort of thing. DJ Countess was outgoing and friendly and he is very eager to start playing. He reminded me of myself when I say, "Isn't it April, yet?". Maybe it's my age showing, but he looks almost as young as Nik Besagno. 😕

Guys, I'm getting excited. Are you getting excited? I'm definitely getting excited. :D

The secong guy is Sergio Florez... they will both be anounced as players for RSL in the next couple of weeks... (that is if I over heard Pastorino correctly).

Check out the Loyalist website for details on Sergio Flores and several other new signings (quite a bit actually).

Notre copain Nikolas a gagné le prix "French Honor Role".

Formidable!

Like my Role Model Jules from Pulp Fiction would say, "Check out the big brain on Nikolas."

(Yes, Montjules, you're my role model, too.)
