Well, I could tell you all what babelfish told me, but it might be a little scary.

That wasn't much help, sorry.

His injury is still nagging him a little.

How'd you like St. Etienne, Scholesy? Which district were you in? I did 4 months there as a missionary and loved it. Probably the second-best French city, behind Bordeaux 😉

First thing everyone always says is that it's a dirty coal-mining city, but I loved it, and wouldn't mind living there. The city is absolutely infatuated with soccer, more so than any other French city I've ever seen, and there are pick-up games everywhere. They love their ASSE, and all the old-timers do nothing all day but sit around and chat about the "good years" of "les Stephanois".

Plus, with a pretty sizable North African population, they produce some of the finest kebobs I've ever had. Mmmmmm.

For the rest of you who don't really give a crap about all of this, sorry. RSL is going to destroy Colorado.

I served there in 1992, there was this awesome little stand in the square that we ate at every day, it served the best food ever! I loved it there, I visited several times until I moved here. Planning on a visit in April or May next year. We lived in a cool little flat near town. Who do you remember from the branch?

Lineup????

Did anyone look at tonight's game guide???
http://www.mlsnet.com/pdf/921colrsl.pdf
-------Countess
-Cabrera-Pope-Broome
----Trembly-Kamler
Gregorio--------Scarlett
---------Williams
-----Mathis--Watson

I don't like that Trembly/Kamler thing. I think that Williams should start at R-mid (take Gregorio out) Move Mathis to A-mid, and put in Tarley up top. Also move Trembly to defense (Then take him out) and put in Akwari in at c-back.

GO REAL!!!!!!! 🕺 🕺

I saw in the paper that Tarley may not play today. He hurt his foot or toe in the game against Dallas. The injury bug is biting a lot of players.

Spooky. I was there in 97. It was my first city, so names and such I'm not so good with. I do remember that the first time we were invited to eat over was at the DuBois home. I've got names written down somewhere. There was a family that lived out in Le Puy that we went to visit all the time (he was the ward mission leader). Gilles Brun is another member that helped us out a lot. I think he was actually baptized right around 92. Also the Joanesse family that lives right next to the church. I'm remembering a whole lot of people but not a whole lot of names right now. They're all french sounding. Ohhh, the Fernandez family, too -- they're Portuguese. She makes the best chorizo dishes ever. One of their daughters married another member named Alex while I was there.

We were also downtown, about half a mile from centre ville (31 rue des Armuriers, rez-de-chausee). Right next to a charcuterie and a boulangerie, which accounted for about 5 of the pounds that I carry around with me today. TONS of super friendly people in that city. Some of the older guys in the city kept bringing up the fact that the Americans accidentally bombed St. Etienne in WWII, and they weren't too happy about it, but that the whole war thing ended up ok, so we're all good. Let's take a trip back over there, shall we?

Ah. Okay, keep Mathis up top. But still do the Trembly thingy. You're right about the injury bug.

Anyone going to Lumpy's tonight? I got permission from my wife to leave her and the kids at home tonight (that happens like twice a year max), so I figured if there's a time to go to the 21+ Lumpy's, tonight's the night.

However, if no one else is going there, I'll stick with Iggy's.
