[color=black]Look at it from both points of view Jules. This may be your opinion of what happened but there is the other side as well and maybe we’ll find the truth in the middle.

1. I’m not laughing at anyone.
2. I’m focusing on those who were already in the group and decided to leave.

In a perfect world you're right. In fact I agree because I want everyone to have fun minus the drama. But then again, I'm a yellow with a shot of white and I want everyone to have fun and get along.

However, like every group, that's not going to be the case with everyone. Some will get a long and others will not. You're in charge of how you react. You can choose to look at the positive and know you do have friends in the group or you can focus on that one or two people who make it a negative experience and continue to focus on them until you leave the group completely (thus leaving the positives as well). In other words, they may or may not take responsibility for their own actions but ultimately the choice is yours in how you react.

There are few who have really infuriated me during the season, but I've done 1 of 2 things every times.
1. find out why they are upset, learn their point of view and agree or disagree with them. Usually they've become the people I've spoken with most on the boards.
2. I just ignored the guy because he lives in Florida (<--- just kidding Prime).

That's your choice. Others might not want to do that. Don't blame your reaction, your emotion on them. Just control your feelings (this talking to the group not just you Jules). That's all I'm trying to say.

There are those who have stopped sitting with the groups who I know are saying it's the fault of the RCB or the Loyalists. This is just not true. The onus is now on them because all of us (both groups) are over it and are enjoying the games together still. If they chose to come back and enjoy the games with us (both groups again) I'm sure we would welcome them with open arms and act as though nothing happened.....because nothing did happen. LOL.

oh well. ultimately I can't control anyone. We do have a unique opportunity to include everyone and have a great soccer atmosphere. There will always be a differing opinion. There will always be disagreements.

It’s like life. Life isn’t always hunky dory. You have your ups and downs. You can either chose to focus on the ups and the overall experience or you can choose to focus on the negatives and really miss the many positives around you.

Good points. I only expressed my viewpoint to see that both sides of the picture were being represented, not because I disagreed completely with what you said. I was trying to fill in the gaps a bit rather than simply disagree. I hope that makes sense, but if it doesn't.... well that's your problem. 😉

well, I'm not because my wife is in the Relief Society and she's going downtown to conference. I'm with the kiddies mañana.

Ditto here. I have the whole Relief Society thing to do. Is the game going to be televised? If so, I can watch the RS thing at home before/after the game!

Great, now my wife will have to watch this on BYUTV instead of me watching soccer! Naw, we'll figure something out.

Thanks for posting the "rules" Fuegote. Even if you mocked those Floridians later! 😉

Sheesh! Group Shmoup. Why should there ever be drama wrapped up in a hobby and sport that we all love and dedicate our Saturdays (sometimes wed. and sundays) to? I must say that I am personally content to sit in the north goal and scream until I lose my voice. After all, that's what we're all really here for, right? There's enough negativity in this world right now without having to drag this wonderful sport into the muck. My advice? Have a drink and put a smile on your face. 🕺

Not a good idea. That'll get you thrown out of RES.

I thought they sold bottled water at the stadium. I'm confused now. It must be the smile.
