RSL vs. Crew Sept. 24 [R] -Pre/PBP/Post debate

Last weekend home match, can RSL make it count?

I think we will see the same lineup here as we did against CRapids.

..............DJ
Cabrera-Pope-Broome
...........Kamler
Scarlett..........Gregorio
...........Mathis
Williams-Tarley-Watson

Discuss!!!
Lets win RSL, its only the Crew!!!

Sadly, SoccerPrime, I think you care more than the team does at this point.

You'd think this lineup would be able to produce...something.

I wasn't able to see the game on Wednesday so I didn't see how Kamler did at defensive-mid. Should Coach Ellinger leave him in or put Kenny Cutler back at that spot now that his suspension is over?

Neither. I say we put Gregorio back in d-mid, slide Williams to the wing and then put in Cila up top with Tarley and Watson.

GO RSL!

I like that lineup, especially without Cutler in it.
🙂 Go Kamler!! Maybe Tiger could play there...

Game Guide:http://www.mlsnet.com/pdf/924rslclb.pdf

Supposed Lineup(from the game guide):

-------------DJ
--Broome-Pope-Cabrera
-----------Cutler
-Gregorio-------Scarlett
-----------Mathis
-Williams--------Watson
-----------Tarley

It's like a 3-1-2-1-2-1! j/k!

0-2 at the half.

RSL gave up the early goal (again) but fought back well enough to lead on shots and equal the Crew's four SOG. But Columbus put two of theirs away, and that's the difference.

The second goal was particularly tough to watch, with the same "French Army" defense that allowed DC to pummel us so badly a couple of weeks ago. Retreating to trade space for time is a tactic that usually results in a goal for the other team.

There's always the second half to fix it.

Don't look now, but cheetos are up 1-0 on the CRapids.

So we could be eliminated from the playoffs despite a CRapids loss, and cheetos can gain ground on us in the race to avoid status as the league's worst team.

CRapids up 2-1 on Kirovski PK. Just doesn't sound right.

Nothing new for RSL. Poor midfield service and shots with no real danger for Walker.

Andy Williams gets us back in the game with a great individual effort in the 86th minute.

1-2.
