Ellinger is planning on starting Brian Dunseth, who is hobbled with a calf strain, at the back along with Chris Brown and Nelson Akwari.
So I'm assuming it's not that bad if he's starting. Good news.

I don't know, he still looked a bit hobbled on Sunday. It may be a case of trying to get veteran leadership on the field for as long as possible.

I noticed that on Sunday. I just hope if he is on the field and still in pain he’s not going to be a liability. Let the reserves play. Sure it’s DC United, but we’ve got nothing to loose.

My guess is that Knowles replaces Dunseth before the 1st half ends.

If that is the case then isn't it a bit silly to start Dunny? I mean, why play someone who has a high probability of requiring a first half sub. That seems like bad managing to me...that is just me though and I don't know Dunny's condition.

Bad managing, or sheer desperation?

From the replay I was watching, when they showed him on the sidelines, he appeared to be in a lot of pain. I can't believe he's even going to try to play. He's gotta be one tough cookie.
