2005 HOme Attendance Sorry if I'm missing the existing thread. I just wanted to share some info as things wind down. At some point before xmas I'll have a fancy pants web application up so I'll post the link for it. That'll better show the attendance figures for RSL and the MLS this year.
This years numbers look good. They'll likely take a hit as the last 2 home games are wednesday games. I don't know if the total wednesday games is more or less for RSL than other teams. Checking for those numbers will have to wait. With the matches left to play the 2005 home average for Real Salt Lake is current 18,605. That's the average for all the matches. The mean, with the highest and lowest left out, is 17,298. Not bad at all given how crappy the team has played since it was off to a nice start. __________________

Gotta echo huntingfool12's comments. Our attendance this year has been impressive, but it will be that much more so when we actually start winning. Unfortunately, we've given naysayers a lot of fodder this year with the scoreless drought and now our nine game losing streak. It's hard to convince people that it's really truly an exciting sport and team when we don't score and don't win. Maybe we could start a winning streak tonight? I'm actually curious to see how many people show up to see Freddy and Co. Could be quite a show!
