yea, im an avid liverpool suppoerter and i think Crouch is pure rubbish.

but then maybe its just the liverpool team altogether.

the only reason they are in 3rd place now is not because of their offense, its thier defense that is stoppin opponents goals from going in. Hell, Hyypia their centerback I think has as many goals as some of their starting forwards!

Well, he does have 9 goals already for Liverpool. And he had 17 the season before that (for Southampton). Add to that the international goal against Uruguay and he doesn't seem so much like rubbish.

Well, at least yesterday's match didn't square with your outlook.
(Liverpool 5 : 1 Fulham)

they got lucky yesterday.

Crouch really sucked bad the first part of the season. he's made up for it a little bit. but really. all the games I watch they miss some pretty easy goals.

Liverpool's "rubbish" forward scores two more goals to bring his season tally to 11. Not bad for "rubbish."

"Of late we've been criticized for not scoring enough goals so hopefully we've proved a few critics wrong tonight,'' Gerrard said. "Nothing's changed, we're just getting a little luck in front of goal.''

Crouch, who was replaced by Morientes in the second half, said he was disappointed not to stay on and earn his first three-goal game in his pro career.

are those quotes enough for you just to accept that Liverpool has NOT been performing as well as they should.

so shut up now or i'll have to teach you a lesson!

It appears you didn't notice what part of your post I quoted.

I don't think it's a secret that the Liverpool strike force isn't firing on all cylinders. Why else would they bring in a temp like Fowler?
