According to your own fans on BS, this is the most meaningful game of the year for you guys as well. Maybe you need to start talking to your own "fans" about what they need to remember and what is important before you come talking smack about our fans.

Face it. You guys really would be nothing without RSL. The only thing the pathetic Crapids has to look forward to is beating an expansion team in a season series. Without that, you wouldn't have anything. And that's the best you've got after 10 years or existence. Utterly pathetic.

I'd have more respect for you guys if you actually disdained the RMC as beneath you, which it should be. The fact that it is the most meaningful thing to happen in your entire existence says a lot and none of it is good.

Before last weekend I would have agreed with you, but after the Denver road trip, the Crapids move to the top of the list.

In Jason's defense, he is team-obligated at the Chairman of the RMC to promote the RMC.
Its kind in his job title.

But still, its rather lame that the CRapids only real chance for some new hardware is thru RSL. Weak.

Hey, I'm one fan, but the RMC is second in the pecking order to MLS Cup (Well third, behind the Open Cup, but I don't think either one of us wants to talk about that this year). I can't control what other fans think.

That being said, I can't wait to see the Rapids lift the Rocky Mountain Cup on Wednesday, just because it isn't the MLS Cup doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable to win it.

After all this time. Even if it is against an expansion club in their first year, we'll take whatever we can get. Anything is better than absolutely nothing.
Fixed your post.

Technically you're right. In 1997, despite a losing league record, they made it to the MLS Cup Final but lost 1-2 to DC at RFK in a downpour.

And MLS used to give out these cute little trophies for Conference Champions, but no one I know recognizes them as real trophies. Basically, the domestic treble consists of the Supporters' Shield, the U.S. Open Cup, and the MLS Cup. That's it. If you haven't won one of those, you don't have a trophy.

DC and LA have won CONCACAF Champion's Cups and DC also won an InterAmerican Cup, and those count big time since they are international trophies. But there are only three recognized domestic trophies.

As for the RMC, it doesn't really count in this category either. But it means something to us--as it should-because it's a trophy specifically designed for this two team competition. And it will look great in the trophy case. But don't expect anyone outside of RSL and CRapids fans to care or count it as a trophy win.
