When i lived in England i supported my local team Southampton. They weren't the best but they were premier league .. and one fo the advantages they had was their stadium. NOBODY liked to play there apart from southampton (this is there old one "The Dell" as opposed to the new St Marys stadium). It was only small (like 17000 cap with something like only 2000 seats for away supporters) and the seats were right on the field. We had some great fans and when you're that close to the pitch with the whole crowd singing its easy to intimidate the opposition. As for not being able to see well ... when i went i was part of the young saints, their kids club. All the young saints would sit in 1-2 blocks with a load of adults at the back of the block watching them to make sure nothing happened. Even though i was around row 6 and almost right in the corner we were still able to easily watch ... only problem being that we were in the corner so when the ball was down the other end of the pitch it wasn't too easy to see. Basically the view difference isn't too noticable but the intimidation from the fans singing 6 feet from the edge of the pitch was awesome ... so many games were won because of that. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Where's that devil banana? I'm okay with the name, mind you, it's just I already see WAY too much of that idiot's commercials as it is. I think the term "insufferable" was invented just for him. Plus there'd probably be great theme nights like "Free Glock Night," or something with their name up on the marquee.

![]() The only thing I find strange, the double deck side of the stadium is facing west. Durring the summer, even with the 7:30 start times the people on the east side looking west will roast until the sun almost goes down all the way. The stadium should be flipped around and have the double deck side looking east. Shouldn't it?

![]() This view looks amazing. I love the building overlooking the stadium. Although it appears that we are going to have to have a stage, these early drawings of the stadium show some seats seperating the stage from the field. Could make for a good Supporters Section, something away from people that would allow us to get as rowdy as we wish. ![]()
