Scott & Brenes not in Ticos' plans
On the way home, I heard the "headlines" of "Locura por el Futbol" on 1640.

The announcer said that Costa Rica's coach said that he was only calling in 2 foreign-based players for upcoming WCQ's.

(A guy from Brescia in Italy & one from Malaga in Spain.)

Scott & Brenes would be in "preseason" shape, so that's probably a good move by the Top Tico.

Well, if Brenes and Scott don't leave for their nationals WCQ, I won't cry. WCQ and MLS schedules are not a good marriage. Many MLS teams seemed to really hurt last season because of all the call-ups.
