I am curious... was this Crockett Clown around when Larry Miller got tons of Tax breaks for building Jordan Commons? Is Larry paying taxes on that yet?

Was he around when Larry Miller got tax breaks for building car dealerships in SL & Utah County? And when Larry Miller headed a lobbyist group to stop Car Sales on Sunday in Utah to keep out of state competition out of Utah?

Where was he when the Delta Center and the E-Center and all of the Olympic Venues were being built?
What guarantees did they demand then and what are those facilities doing now?

Well i think its hilarious that the Salt Lake County Council is pushing beer sales! Thats great (write it in the history books). I say.....sell the stupid beer! Put some limits on it so ppl dont get drunk and drive home and take the stupid money to the bank and stop biachin (i can even say THAT here???) about everything. Jeezzz this is getting old.

What pisses me off about the trib editorial is that it is written to resemble an actual news article!

That is misleading in that the casual reader will look at it as an actual article and thus their opinion will be swayed and/or formed by this shoddy and unprofessional reporting.

i love that the guy who is risking none of his own money tells the guy that is investing 90 million dollars that he does not care how much money he is investing, and that he is concerned with whether the investment is sound...

That is f&^%ing priceless...

That, and it appears that Sandy and Salt Lake County would benefit greatly from infrastructure improvements to the areas around 9400 south and state street, whether the team builds the stadium or not. Hasn't Mayor Dolan said that the majority of these improvements have to happen sooner or later anyway?

Yes, "Crock"ett is an idiot. What about sales tax generated at the stadium? What about sales tax generated at Jordan Commons by the stadium? Checketts has already left a thinly-veiled threat about moving the team if the stadium is not built.

Real Rowan New Jersey, anyone?
