Cheese Whiz!!!!
Vegas!?
I have already had one bad RSL in Vegas experience and that is plenty thanks.

Here is a novel idea that is just crazy enough that it might work...

RSL v Hannover 96 in Salt Lake City...

Here's another wacky idea......

Vegas baby!

A Bundesliga team would probably love to hit up Vegas during their winter break. Sam Boyd Stadium is only 55 yards wide, so that's out.

Maybe they could set up temporary stands at UNLV or I think that there's a big soccer complex down there.

Would Hannover play on field turf? That seems to be the major hangup with most teams.

RSL has to play some place before the snow melts here. It might as well be a place that's a few hours drive away and has $1.99 shrimp ****tails.

I'm no Bundesliga expert. But I think that they like to play some place during their winter break.

Germany Bound

The author of the article uses the word "confirmed". Is that a reliable source or is it just speculation? I mean, the part with the RSL players training at Hannover is believable but I still doubt that the friendly next may is already confirmed.

Here is a link to an article in the local paper today that says Hannover 96 will be traveling to Salt Lake in May for an exhibition. Don't know how solid that meeting is...I guess only time will tell.

Yes that thread I started is an actual portion of that article... I think I noted that it was a James Edward article but didn't have the link to the actual article.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Gildegirl will come back next week in love with Jamie.... let's see what happens. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Let's hope you can give us a good report on how they are getting along in Germany, too!
