The Ogden Outlaws had an exhibition match this past weekend against an Ogden Latino All-Star team. Here are some highlights if you are interested. Sorry, no close-ups...it was taped more for the coaches to evaluate.

Final score:
Ogden Outlaws: 4
Latino All-Stars: 0

Just another reminder, if anyone is interested...The Ogden Outlaws will be hosting RSL in an exhibition match at Ogden High School. Kick-off is set for 6:30 PM. Should be a fun night.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.

If you are able to make it Deuce, look me up and i'll get you a press pass to get you on the field to take pictures.

The Ogden Outlaws completed their first road trip of the season and split the two games.

Saturday, May 20th, Ogden was defeated by the Abbotsford Rangers, 4-1. Here is a link to the story in the Ogden Standard Examiner. Abbotsford is currently at the top of the standings in the Northwest Division.

Sunday, May 21st, Ogden rebounded and beat the Cascade Surge 3-1. Right fullback, Dustin Bybee had a big game scoring 1 goal on a penalty kick in the 15th minute and assisting on the other two. One to Will Nova (20th) and the other to Armin Serdavic (90th).

They will be home this coming weekend for two games...Friday night at 7:30pm against the Yakima Reds followed by a Saturday night contest versus Tacoma FC, also at 7:30pm.

Last night, the Ogden Outlaws hosted the Yakima Reds. In the end, Ogden came out on top 1-0. Kenny Hickman was taken down in the box by the keeper and was awarded a PK. Johnnie Meneses converted the PK in the 74th minute.

Even after the final whistle, the action wasn't over. A dejected Yakima player spit in the face of an Outlaw defender which led to a small scuffle.

The Ogden Outlaws will host Tacoma FC tonite at 7:30pm at Ogden High School.

Ogden secured their third straight victory Saturday night in cold and wet conditions. This time the victim was Tacoma FC. Bruno Baca netted two goals (one PK), and David Gates converted another PK after a Tacoma defensive player stopped a shot headed for the net with his hand (he was shown the red), as Ogden shut-out Tacoma FC.

This was a very physical game that saw a total of 47 fouls called. There were 5 yellow cards issued and 3 ejections. The Ogden Outlaws have earned PK's in every game they have played in their young existence.

Ogden will next take on the BYU Cougars on June 3, at 7:30 pm. BYU and Ogden are 1-2 respectively, in the Northwest Division standings. Unfortunately, this contest conflicts with the RSL vs. Chicago Fire match.

Go RSL and Ogden!!!

First Round matchups are set for the US Open Cup.

The Ogden Outlaws are matched up against the Sonoma County Sol of the USASA. The game will be played on June 14 in Santa Rosa, CA.

The BYU Cougars are matched up against the Arizona Sahuaros of the USASA. That game will be played in Phoenix, AZ.

Best of luck to both Utah PDL teams....but i'm partial to the Outlaws. 🙂

This is great for Utah soccer. I'm a BYU alum but Bruno Baca (striker for Outlaws) is a good friend of mine.
