How about a Loyalist Day?

An idea I had...

Perhaps we could coordinate with the team to have one of the home games be 'Loyalist Day'. We could give each of the card-carrying members a voucher for one free ticket to the loyalist section to be used to bring a friend to the 'Loyalist Day' to sit in the supporters' section. It might be a good way to boost the loyalist numbers. If we can just give some of those fench-sitters a taste of what it means to be a loyalists and a soccer fan, they might just come back.

Even if we could only do it as a one-shot deal for season one only, it might work. The ideal game to do it would be either the opening game against the crapids or the last home game against them.

Excellent Idea...
That would get quite a few new ppl in the stands... and I am sure once they saw how much fun we all have at matches they would be more likely to join the Loyalists... and even more importantly... come back to see RSL!

Excellent Idea!

I think that's a great idea. If the front office is for it, I think that would be a great way to enlist more Loyalists.

I know this is unrelated, but I can't think straight today, so bear with me... How about sometime during the summer we have a big Loyalists barbecue? (Tailgate without the game...) We'll make it a big socializing event for the Loyalists and friends, and we'll invite the team and front office, but not count on them showing up. 🙂

It'll have to be a potluck. It wouldn't be Utahn if it wasn't potluck (something I try to refuse doing for my own social gatherings for friends/family.)

As much as other people enjoy being surrounded by drunk men stumbling around with foul breath and no sense of what's going on, it's never been my thing... 😉

Although I'll admit that the San Jose Earthquakes game I went to was a little more "entertaining" due to the guy next to me who was buying beer after beer after beer and acting more and more tipsy throughout the course of the game.

A Loyalist Kegger?
I'm for that! as well as Jules' potluck thingy... obviously not at the same time...

As long as there is green bean casserole and many variations to the Lime Jello dishes and funeral Potatoes(I think they are called that anyway!)
I am sooooo there if they have all that stuff! I will bring my world famous(in most non-English speaking countries) Chili!

Well only chips and burgers at the kegger tho!
I will pitch in for the kegger! :D
