November 9 Meeting discussion

Just got back from the meeting and I think it went great. We got some good info from Mr. Fitz-Gerald and it was good to get together. We had a pretty good turnout, probably 25 people or so for whoever wasn't there... What were everyone's highlights? For me it was all the info we got and also I really liked Gary's (Gary right? (The Cup)) Loyalist logos, I look forward to using some of those.

Steve and I are planning on going to the MLS Cup watching party on Sunday. Anyone else in?

👍

I was at the meeting and also thought it was good. I am now officially a Loyalist (I guess I was only a closet Loyalist, before). Mr. Fitz-Gerald had a lot of good things to say. The whole meeting was very encouraging. It looks like the F/O will be taking an interest in us and that is good.

Glad things went well. I would have attended but the 24 hour car ride would have killed me. 🙂
I have some obvious questions
#1-Who are we writing the checks to for the Loyalists?
#2-Any place I can see these new Loyalist logos (are these the black/skull ones)?

Thanks

Make checks out to "The Loyalists" and mail them to... I don't know. Ask Glenn who to mail them to! 🙂

The other logos will be available today or tomorrow.

Where's this watching party taking place? Are crazy people allowed?

I contemplated coming to the meeting last night, but after being on campus for 14 hours on Monday and 9 yesterday, I couldn't take it... lame excuse, but oh well.

I'm going to say that the best part of the meeting was the information as well. After sitting around speculating about what is happening in so many different areas it was nice to get solid information on a range of topics, well, at least the ones Trey could tell us about.

I'm glad to know that most of our games will be in the evenings, it'll be nice to have the sun on its way down when we're sitting in the stands.

I'm going to try to type up the information today so we can get it online for those who weren't at the meeting. Check back for more.

I believe our esteemed VP Dave is figuring out where it will be, but probably either the Sky Box or Fiddler's Elbow. You are welcome to come, crazy people are not only allowed but they are encouraged. Dave should clue us in on the rest of the details soon. Does he have a handle on this forum yet?

Hopefully we'll get those other logos up soon, they were really cool.

FYI Dave is getting married, so he currently exists in 2 places at once. 1 is in Utah the other is Cloud 9. :p
Just in case you were wondering where he is half the time, he is in the clouds.

Right on. If I can manage to drag myself out of bed at a halfway decent hour (don't ask), I'll come.
