None of the 13 U.S. alternates has been summoned to camp, but 18-year-old midfielder Michael Bradley was invited to serve as a practice player. Bradley, son of Chivas USA Coach Bob Bradley, just completed the Dutch season with Heerenveen.

Actually, technically Albright was an alternate right? It's just that Frankie busted his knee the day of the announcement (or night before or after, I forget).

Good to see MB in there practicing with the squad during his off season. It'll be interesting to see how things pan out for him in the long run given how strongly some fans insisted the only reason he was playing was because of his pa-pa. Well, that may have been the case but Heerenveen saw something beyond that for the amount of money they're paying him.
